Emotions

Should a leader show emotions? This question is as old as management itself. However, it should be asked differently. When and what emotions should a leader display? The most admired are charismatic leaders who are consistent and natural. This trait makes teams willingly follow such leaders. People simply choose security and want to work with winners. But not everyone always succeeds. Sometimes failure occurs, and the question arises: should a leader show sadness and despair? Or when achieving success, should they exhibit joy and euphoric happiness?

In my life, I've encountered many outstanding leaders and I'd like to share an observation. The truly natural ones speak and behave just as they are. Of course, they must maintain decorum, but they don't pretend it's night when the sun is shining brightly on everyone. I have another experience. Sometimes, you can flawlessly read a leader by when they are euphoric. That's when you need to calibrate their behavior and correct it by working with them.
